It’s been wonderful to be able to welcome students back to the Chaplaincy as we head towards the beginning of Michaelmas Term.

Of course, the ‘Rule of Six’ is going to place us under some considerable constraint but as we discovered on Sunday, after the 11am Mass, fun is still to be had and people can still meet and get to know each other. It was cold but people seemed happy to stand and chat. Though, trying to explain to a group of Oxford students the process of moving around in a group of six (with numbers clearly marked on the tarmac) proved surprisingly difficult!

We will repeat the process next Sunday, and if we can find a way, we would love to offer everyone a cup of coffee or tea. At least that will help keep the hands warm!
