Saturday 26th to Tuesday 29th June

A time to unwind at the end of the year in a house by the sea with magnificent hills to east and the south.

As with the winter visit to Barmouth, our days together will be a mixture of community time, meals, walks by the sea, up in the hills, relaxing in the evenings, and Mass, prayer and reflection.

The focus of the prayer will be to look back over the year, to recognise what we are grateful for, to see more clearly how God has been helping us to grow, and to get a more developed sense of what this year has meant to us. We will use the Examen Prayer of St Ignatius of Loyola as the model for our reflection.

Travel will by minibus or train. Each participant will be asked to contribute £140 to the costs (including travel) but we will do our best to assist anyone for whom this cost is prohibitive. So please say if you would need financial assistance.

Open to Oxford University students. Please contact Alvea to register interest.
