Dear all,
I hope you are well, and have had a restful start to the Vac. This is just a quick email to let you know about the holiday timetable here at the Chaplaincy. Things will be much quieter, but there are still a few events happening for those still in town.

This Tuesday from 7-9pm we have a consultation with representatives from the Birmingham Diocese on the upcoming Youth Synod. This event is open to all young adults aged 18-30, and is an important opportunity to contribute to discussion on our experiences of life and faith, purpose and hope, feedback from which will be brought to the Pope and Cardinals in October.

There are still a few spots left on our Easter Pilgrimage to Paris and Chartres! We will be leaving on Wednesday 4th April to spend two days soaking in the beauty and rich Catholic culture of Paris before joining a nationwide walking pilgrimage to Chartres Cathedral, returning Monday 9th. Total cost for the trip is just £185, with subsidies available for those who might require. If you are interested, please get in touch with me asap!

Finally, we now have just two Sunday Masses, at 9am and 11am.
Daily Mass continues at 12:15pm, but there will be no Adoration or Morning Prayer until 0th Week of Trinity.

Easter Mass times will be as follows:

Maundy Thursday: 8pm Mass, followed by watching at the Altar of Repose until midnight.
Good Friday: 8:30am Morning Prayer, 3pm Memorial of the Lord’s Passion
Holy Saturday: 8:30am Morning Prayer, 9pm Easter Vigil
Easter Sunday: 11am Mass

I will be in touch nearer the time with more details of Holy Week events. Until then, have a blessed break and a holy Lent.
